Why VO2?

VO2 Max is the maximum rate at which your body can consume oxygen during intense exercise. It is the ceiling of your aerobic capacity — the number that defines how hard you can push, and what happens when you push past it.

Every athlete who has ever earned something has exceeded what they thought their ceiling was. They trained, they doubted, they showed up anyway, and they went further than they believed possible.

That is the VO2 moment.

We chose the name because every frame we build is for athletes who pushed through their ceiling. The name is not decorative. It is the entire point.

Why Atelier?

An Atelier is a craftsman's workshop.

It is where a jeweller sits for twelve hours perfecting a single setting. Where a tailor remakes a sleeve three times until the shoulder falls exactly right. Where the work is done slowly, by hand, with intention — because the person receiving it has earned that standard of care.

Every VO2 Atelier frame is built in that spirit. Not manufactured. Not assembled from stock parts. Made, by hand, in Beirut, for one specific person and the specific achievement they put inside it.

The craft.

Solid beech wood. Bevel-cut double mat. 2mm glass. Every combination chosen not for trend but for what the frame will look like in ten years — still on that wall, still holding that moment.

The logo.

The arrow in the VO2 mark is not decorative. It represents the athlete in motion — the upward arc of training, the moment of crossing a threshold you didn't know was possible.

The subscript 2 grounds the name in physiology, not lifestyle branding. This is a brand that knows what the number means — because the person who founded it has felt it in his lungs, on a track in Beirut, on a road in a marathon, and in the open water before a triathlon.

The logo is the story. Every frame we make carries it.

Where we are going.

VO2 Atelier is the first chapter of something larger.

This is the first division of the VO2 brand — a premium sports ecosystem being built in Lebanon for athletes who earn things. What comes next begins here: with the belief that the effort deserves products built to the same standard.
